Hello everyone!
We had a really great week! We had a zone P-day which was super fun. We played lots of minute-to-win it games and then got pizza afterwards.
So I found out I will be training again! I am so excited to meet her on Thursday! So I will most likely stay in Fukuoka for another two transfers to train my new companion. I am so excited to see lots of miracles. I'm sure she will have tons of fire coming from the MTC. I love training!
We volunteered again at the airport to help all the Boy Scouts go home from the Jamboree. And I got to meet some Boy Scouts from UKRAINE. I was so sad, I didn't have time to take a picture with them, but I felt so much love for them and told them I was supposed to go to Ukraine!
Our investigators are progressing well. Oogami Sayaka chan had to go to the hospital yesterday and will be there for 10 days! She has to get her tonsils out. She used to work at a bar and all the smoke and stuff really messed up her throat. :( We visited her and gave her a card and got to meet her mom, which was way good! We have to wait a while until we can teach her again, but please pray for her health!
Watanabe Atsuko san is also doing so well! She has so much faith and is keeping all her commitments and texts us everyday with a blessing that she saw from God that day. She has a major problem with tea, so please please pray that she will be able to overcome that trial of faith before her baptism on September 5th!
Mataki Sayaka chan is also progressing amazingly. She already told us that she believes Joseph Smith was a prophet. Its amazing to see the Spirit touch her heart not only in lessons, but as she reads and prays on her own. Without the Spirit, our investigators cannot progress! She is super busy right now writing her 30 page senior thesis, but she is still going to come to church on Sunday. She is so awesome!
A scripture we read this week in District Meeting was Doctrine and Covenants 6:36 -
"Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not. "
It is so simple and true. As we look unto the Lord in all that we do, we never have to worry. He always knows what is best for us. I know this scripture is true. I am so excited to start these new transfers with even higher expectations for what we can accomplish here in Fukuoka. I know this Church is true!
Love you!
Klein Shimai
