I hope its warm in CA because it's so cold here!!!! Enjoy the sun for me! It hailed on Saturday so that was fun to bike in!
I have been sick for like 2 weeks now, just a head cold that will not go away. And then on Saturday Kashiwa Shimai got the flu so we were home all day yesterday. She got to sleep a lot, which was good! She still is super tired so please pray that she will get over the flu! The Rowe senior couple came to our apartment yesterday and Elder Rowe gave her a blessing, which helped a ton! Her fever was at 102, but now it's pretty back to normal.
So we have been doing lots of finding lately because we need new investigators! We found one really happy, smiley school girl on the street haha and she became a new investigator! We are meeting with her on Wednesday so pray that she will show up! Her name is Kana chan!
We met with our two investigators from Eikaiwa, Hiroe and Ebihara san. They both prayed on their own! We gave them English Book of Mormons so they can read the Japanese and English versions side by side- its a good way to get them to read the Book of Mormon and study English at the same time!
Mana chan is doing well! She is nervous for baptism though because she's worried about living all the commandments 100% perfectly; which of course, no-one can do! She loves coffee and tea, so we made a deal that we won't eat any chocolate until she starts following the Word of Wisdom! She knows we LOVE chocolate so she has been pretty good so far haha. We are also doing 12 days of Christmas with her so each day we give her a scripture about Christ and a little treat. The last day we will give her the `Joy to the World` DVD and watch it with her! We really think her testimony of Jesus Christ will be strengthened through this!
I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas!!! Our next pday is on Christmas so no email for a while! Take care and drink some hot chocolate for me!!
Take time to think about our Savior during this amazing Christmas season- remember Him! I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He lives! Love you all! The church is true! Have fun!
