10/11/2015 E-mail: Kristine chan = special girl!

Hello everyone!

This week was so busy. Chapman Shimai and I went to Nakagawa and then
to Maebaru to go on splits with some sisters. So basically, I didn't
sleep in my own futon for five days, but it's always super fun to see
all the areas throughout our Zone and to get to know all the sisters
better!

General Conference was of course amazing! Kristine chan came and loved
it, and Kaz San rode 40 min. on his bike to come watch the Sunday morning
session. It was awesome to see them there! The spirit was so strong
and I loved the primary choir.

Kristine chan is doing well and we are going to the zoo with her today,
because she has the day off school! We have taught up to lesson 3 with
her. She is such a hard worker and is basically raising her younger
siblings. She had to quit her school clubs so that she can make dinner
for the family every night and do the chores. The mom lives in a
different city and the dad doesn't get home until 10, so she is
basically the mom of the house. So sometimes when we go over for a
lesson, the dad will call and say that we have to leave because
Kristine chan has to finish her chores first. So we are trying to show
the dad lots of love and wrote him a letter this past week which he
loved. He is not hantai against our church or baptism, he is just
strict with Kristine doing all her house chores before she can meet
with us. Please continue to pray for her!

One of the favorite scriptures I read this week was 3 Nephi 17:7, 9:

Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy.
And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth with their sick and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all them that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him.

I loved how it said that they did ALL go forth. There was not one
person there that was not stricken, sick, or heartbroken is some way.
No one is perfect. We all have weaknesses and we all need the Savior.
I know He lives!

Sorry not much time today! Love you all!

Klein Shimai
