Hello!
We had another crazy busy week! Last Pday, I took Carey Shimai to Sushi Roll for her first time and she loved it! We love sushi!
Tomoko San came to our lesson this week and said that she completely
quit smoking! She used to smoke two whole packs a day. What an
amazing testimony builder of the power of the Atonement. Sayaka chan
also doesn't have any problems with the Word of Wisdom, which is way
nice since we've had huge problems with other investigators and the Word of Wisdom recently. She is all set to be baptized on the 26th of this month!
Elder Choi from the Area Presidency came to our mission! He gave a
super good training and focused a lot on our identity. He also talked
a lot about elevating our thoughts and he quoted Sister Hinckley's
motto: "Today I obey; Tomorrow I understand." So true!
We did splits in Nakagawa this week and I got to work with Layton
Shimai. Yes she is from Layton, Utah haha.
The Fukuoka church building is under construction, so all the ward
members and we have to go to Fujisaki each week for church. The
members have such strong testimonies and are dedicated and still
showed up at church, no matter how far it was. It's just a 30 min. bike
ride for us though.
I'm so grateful for the Atonement in my life. My testimony of it has
grown so much on my mission. We are so blessed to have a loving
Savior!
Sorry, I'm typing this on my iPad and it's really annoying, so sorry if
it's short!
I love you all,
Klein Shimai
