Konnichiwa!

This week flew by. We had district meeting, Im in the Sendai District. (we have a sendai in our mission too) Its just the 4 shimai in our apartment and then 6 elders. everyone is so nice! all but 3 ppl are new to the area. we have this thing in our mission called lesson masteries, where you role play lessons 1-5 to your district leader. you do the short, medium, and long versions. it takes people like 7 transfers to pass off! im just working on lesson 1 short right now haha. it really helps you with the language though. after district meeting we got indian curry and it was SO GOOD. 

Our investigator Mayu San is doing well. We taught her Word of Wisdom and she was a little worried about the tea and coffee part. We told her she could do it and that were here to help. We had two lessons about it and the blessings that come from it and she prayed for help and is doing really well! it was an answer to prayer!

the other day we had companion study and we felt that we should go over extending baptismal invites.i role played it to capener shimai a bunch and then we headed out and were street contacting. we came up to two 14 year old girls and i felt like i should practice it for the first time! i showed a picture of Christ getting baptized and explained what is was and some of the blessings that come from it. then i said, if you come to know that these things are true, would you receive baptism? and they said YES! it was so awesome! they seemed really interested and thought it was so cool that we could be cleansed from our sins. we meet with them tomorrow! this was an answer to prayer! the Lord is aware of us an knew what me and capener shimai needed to study in comp study. He is aware of us!

friday we went to Saka no ue and werent having much success and didnt know where to go. we prayed for guidance and then turned left down a street and came up to a college girl. we introduced ourselves and when she heard that we were missionaries from a church, so got so excited. shes from china and is going to college here. she said she is really stressed out and has been looking for something to help. we promised her that she has a Savior who knows exactly what she is going through. she super excited to come to church and we have a chinese Book of Mormon that we will give her when we meet this week. it was such an awesome experience! she is so ready to hear the gospel!

I love this work so much! If Im ever feeling down in the mornings, as soon as we go out and start talking to people, I always feel so much better! Im so grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord and to give Him my all. I love this gospel so much and know that it s true. Miss you all!
